Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

By using this website and purchasing our products or services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

2. Products & Handcrafted Nature

  • Uniqueness: Every paper flower is handmade. Please note that slight variations in color, shape, and size are part of the charm of handcrafted art and do not constitute a defect.
  • Colors: We strive to display colors accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display reflects the exact color of the physical product.

3. Orders and Payment

  • Pricing: All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR). We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
  • Custom Orders: Full payment (or a specified deposit) is required before work begins on custom commissions. Custom orders are non-refundable once production has started.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Lead Times: As items are handmade, please allow for the production time specified in the product description before shipping.
  • Risk of Loss: We are not responsible for delays or damage caused by third-party courier services, though we will assist in tracking and resolving issues where possible.

5. Workshops and Events

  • Booking: Your spot is only confirmed once the fee of R850 (or the current specified price) is paid in full.
  • Cancellations: Cancellations made within [e.g., 7 days] of the workshop date are non-refundable but may be transferable to another person at our discretion.
  • Liability: Attendees participate in workshops at their own risk. We are not liable for any injuries or damage to personal property during the event.

6. Returns and Refunds

  • Non-Returnable Items: Due to their delicate nature, paper flowers and custom-made items cannot be returned unless they arrive significantly damaged.
  • Damaged Goods: If an item arrives damaged, please contact us within [e.g., 48 hours] with photographic evidence to discuss a replacement or repair.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images, flower designs, and workshop materials, is the intellectual property of Fynbos Paper Flowers. You may not reproduce or use our designs for commercial purposes without written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

Fynbos Paper Flowers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or attendance at our workshops.

Workshop Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Booking and Payment

  • Confirmation: Your seat at a Fynbos Paper Flowers workshop is only confirmed upon receipt of the full fee of R850.
  • What’s Included: This fee covers all specialized materials, live instruction, and the specific paper flower kit prepared for the session.

2. Cancellations by the Attendee

We understand that life happens! However, because we prepare custom kits and reserve venue space in advance, the following terms apply:

  • More than 7 days’ notice: If you cancel at least 7 days before the workshop date, you are eligible for 50% refund or a credit toward a future workshop.
  • Less than 7 days’ notice: Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable.
  • Transferring your seat: If you cannot attend, you are welcome to send a friend in your place! Please just notify us of the name change at least 24 hours before the workshop starts.

3. No-Shows

  • If you do not attend the workshop and fail to notify us in advance, your fee is forfeited.
  • In some cases, we may offer to have your prepared DIY kit sent to you via courier (at your own expense) so you can still create your flowers at home.

4. Workshop Kits

  • The materials provided in our workshops (including templates and instructional guides) are for personal use only.
  • By attending, you agree not to replicate, sell, or use these specific teaching materials for your own commercial workshops or business purposes.

5. Cancellations by Fynbos Paper Flowers

  • In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a workshop (e.g., due to illness or unforeseen venue issues), you will be notified as soon as possible.
  • In this case, you will receive a 100% refund or the option to transfer your booking to a new date.
